What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture is a creative, sustainable, farmer to consumer relationship. For your financial support you recieve your weekly “share” of fresh produce for the growing season. We in turn provide you with the highest quality certified organic vegetables that reflect the diversity of our fields. The quantity and variety will vary with the time of the year and the weather. Vegetables, many of which are heirloom varieties are selected for their outstanding taste.

How it Works.

From mid-June to mid-October, about 18 weeks, you pick up either on the farm or our Okemos pick-up site 4919 Van Atta Rd. your weekly box bursting with a variety of fresh harvested vegetables. A semi-weekly newsletter keeps you informed on farm news along with recipes, upcoming harvesting plans and occasional tips on vegetable storage ideas. We welcome recipe contributions from CSA members.
